Abstract: Since the beginning of time, people were concerned with solving equations – a rather difficult task. This pursuit has led to many remarkable discoveries – from Galois theory to Griffiths Intermediate Jacobians. I will explain a new approach to solving algebraic equations based on ideas from physics. Real life applications will be discussed at the end.
