Students are given three years to pass:
- One exam relating to material from either MTH 733/734 or MTH 735/736
- One exam relating to material from either MTH 761/762 or MTH 741/742
- One exam relating to material in a special topic of your choice
(approved by faculty in the area, and based on a year of 700-level work in the topic)
No exam may be taken more than twice.
The following syllabi are intended as a rough guide. The actual contents of the exams are determined by the qualifier committee.
